Transfer car for loading gravity roller conveyors

AFB Anlagen- und Filterbau GmbH & Co. KG has successfully implemented three new transfer cars for a complex retrofit project in the food industry. For reasons of sustainability, existing systems were modernized or replaced with more efficient systems.
As part of this project, the existing transfer cars were replaced by our modern and individually manufactured transfer cars. A particular highlight of our new transfer cars is the integrated tilting roller conveyor, which not only significantly increases the efficiency but also the flexibility of material handling.
The project was successfully completed in close cooperation with a general contractor. We would like to say many thanks to our partner for this exciting project. Together we are setting new standards in intralogistics.

The challenge: low delivery height and tilting roller conveyor

One of the biggest challenges was the development of a transfer car that could work at a very low delivery height in order to effectively load the customer’s existing gravity roller conveyors. AFB therefore developed a transfer car with an tilting roller conveyor to enable perfect infeed and outfeed of the goods.
