The engineering team at AFB has been working hard to make the Mediload double deep fork better and more efficient than ever before.
And they’ve definitely succeeded with the new Mediload double deep design.
The new design reduces the unit weight by between 20 and 25% (approx. 850kg to 900kg total self-weight).
This reduced self-weight leads to a higher energy efficiency and improved movement speeds.
The new design has better clearance for non-standard pallet sizes. Due to the lightweight design, the telescopic fork needs less installing space, while also needing less space for mounting on the stacker crane.
The new unit is deployable for all applications between dealing with loads between 150kg and 1.500kg and is an ideal solution for cold warehouse applications because of the reliable chain drive.
Just like all our load handling devices, the new Mediload Double Deep (D3/2) is designed and build to the highest standards in order to be able to satisfy the needs and expectations of our customers. Units are expected to function flawlessly for at least 10 years, operating 24/7, when maintained to specifications.
