Perfect integration into existing systems

The push-pull system with relative stroke that we manufactured for an aircraft manufacturer replaces the old device in a customer retrofit project. The challenge for AFB in the design and production was to adapt the new push-pull system to the existing storage and retrieval machine. The interface between our system and the existing storage and retrieval machine had to be implemented as it was with the previous device. In addition, it was important to continue to use the existing load carriers in connection with the new device.

Increased performance thanks to custom design

For the simulation of the implementation, one of our devices was made available to our customer in advance. The push-pull system with relative stroke was manufactured completely individually for 24/7 operation and integrates seamlessly into the existing system of the aircraft manufacturer. Our focus was to design and manufacture the push-pull system according to the latest state of the art in order to increase the performance of the old installation and to significantly reduce downtimes in future.
