During the preparatory phase, a leading engine manufacturer, with the help of our AFB technician, carried out a detailed measurement in their automated high-bay warehouse. TThis careful process led to the definition of the 80-174-HK-1750 telescopic fork as the optimum replacement unit for the existing installation. Thanks to AFB’s technical expertise, this device can be seamlessly integrated into the existing lifting frame of the storage and retrieval machine (SRM) without requiring a complete modernization of the automated high-bay warehouse.
The primary objective of this retrofit project is to enhance the facility’s availability by renewing the load handling devices. Replacing the specified telescopic fork improves the functionality and significantly increases the reliability of warehouse operations.
